Baseball- America's game

I played and coached basketball.  I simply love attending college football games.  I watch all sports.  However, one game is most dear to my heart.  Baseball!  The game to some is slow and difficult to watch.  To me, it is a beautiful game of strategy.   Baseball is a game of stats and numbers, The diamonds are places of green grass and blue skies where the game is played in some great venues.   Yankee Stadium, Fenway Park, Wrigley Field are some of the oldest and most incredible stadiums that I have had the chance to visit.  Old Comiskey on the south side of Chicago was an awesome stadium to watch a game.  I wish I could go back in time to see some of the great ballparks of the past.  I've been to the College World Series in Omaha and I also have made three trips to the movie sight of "Field of Dreams" in Iowa.  I played catch with my Dad and my two sons on that magical field.  Baseball a game that can be shared generation to generation.  Baseball is a special game.  The sights, sounds and smells of a major league game are simply enjoyable

Today's blog will focus on the major leagues, but great baseball can be seen in minor league parks and college stadiums as well.

With the All Star break coming next week, here is a list of players that I would consider to be All Stars and would love to see play.  Hope you enjoy, please feel free to join the conversation
